Do you love Christmas music? I certainly do! I start listening to the 24 hour Christmas music radio on the radio starting December 1st. For me, Christmas time is a magical time of year. I love the festive energy that the holiday brings to the month of December. Christmas music, spending time with loved ones, buying gifts for others, and eating homemade treats…. definitely make this the most wonderful time of the year for me.
For some, the beginning of the holiday season starts with putting up their Christmas tree. For me, it’s hearing Donny Hathaway’s song ” This Christmas”. As soon as I hear the song, I get excited about the upcoming holidays. Music has the power to boost your mood and lessen your anxiety. Although, the holidays are filled with love, laughter, family, and friends. The holidays can also be stressful! I listen to holiday music to boost my mood, as it always makes me feel cheerful!
I also enjoy listening to it at home, so I have a personal Christmas playlist on Spotify. This playlist is full of all my favorite Christmas songs. With over 3 hours of music, it’s perfect for a holiday party or holiday decorating. I do however recommend that you do not listen to holiday music while online shopping. There is the reason that department stores start playing holiday music on “Black Friday”. This playlist will definitely put you in a great holiday mood.
